Summer Game Jam & Super Rope War!

I said I was sticking to my schedule, and that’s what I’m gonna do.

I don’t have too much time to write this post seeing as I accidentally left my laptop charger
at the Shaker LaunchHouse, so I’ll try to keep this brief.


First of all, the Summer Game Jam was pretty friggin’ awesome.
I had a great time working on the game, met some awesome people, and got some new
ideas and inspiration for Silicon Savior Sasha! If there’s one thing I’m bummed about,
it would be the way I presented the game. I REALLY need to work on my public speaking
skills, especially when I start presents S3. Other than that, it was great.
People said they liked the game, and seemed to be impressed by it, seeing as it was
made in less than 48 hours.

The game itself is titled Super Rope War. 
It’s basically where all the battles in a war are played out via violent tug-of-war matches.
I tried a few new things while making it, such as a hub location, making EVERY map before
starting on most of the story/gameplay, etc. These will be also used in S3. (though the story
and gameplay parts have already been started and planned out fully).

Originally, I planned to have Super Rope War available for download tonight, but again,
the laptop charger is back at the LaunchHouse, and I only have 20 minutes left on this thing.
In the meantime, I’ll try to work out some extra bugs tomorrow and decrease the file size so
you guys will be able to play it.

Alright, I seriously gotta wrap this up now. The game will be available for free download
sometime tomorrow. Until then, later bradhuskis. 😉
