Hey guys! Happy #screenshotsaturday!
I’ve got two new screenshots for ya:
This is an example of the Developer Commentary feature. When it’s turned on, blue computer monitors will appear in the world that you can interact with, covering the behind-the-scenes aspect of the game. Above is my composer, Mimi Page, who has comments on every single (amazing) song she wrote.
I’ve always been interested in the creative process and behind-the-scenes aspect of art, so I figured why not do something like that for She Dreams Elsewhere?
Here’s the second half of the level “Serenity”. The water turns into a blood red color and… well, shit goes down. It’s a concept I had a lot of fun working with and Mimi’s music compliments it perfectly.
Also, Thalia’s line may or may not be a reference to the Star Wars films. (sidenote: ROGUE ONE WAS AMAZING AND EVERYONE SHOULD GO SEE IT)
Got any thoughts? Suggestions? Love letters? Send em my way! I’d love to hear them.
Especially the love letters.
Also, in case you haven’t noticed, the website’s been completely redesigned and simplified. There’s still a bit of work to be done, but I’m satisfied with how it’s come out. Take a gander around and lemme know if you have any comments on it.
Until next time, have a lovely weekend!
